APPEARANCE Raylan's 6'0". He's quite striking and cuts a noticeable figure in his stetson and cowboy boots, but he works it. He's handsome and the worst part is that he knows it: he walks with a swagger, and tends to pop his hip out and rest a hand on it when he's standing still. He's quite still, not prone to fidgeting, although he does sometimes twist his ring. He also touches the brim of his hat a lot, and even reaches for it when it's not there. He's super expressive with his whole face-zone and also he tends to gesticulate when he talks, pinching his thumb and index finger together when he's enunciating.

CLOTHING STYLE He's not an especially varied dresser and sticks to the things he knows work on him – henleys, plaid shirts, jeans. Sometimes he wears a shirt and tie for work and other times he just rolls up in double denim, so. Lots of dark and neutral colours. Obviously, the hat, a white stetson with a brown braid around the crown. He also wears a horseshoe ring on his the third finger of his right hand, and usually clips his Marshals Service badge onto his belt.

VOICE Ex. He has a pretty noticeable but generic southern accent — there's not much there that marks it as heavily Kentucky, unless you're listening out for it. His voice is quite deep and he doesn't tend to raise it above normal volume when he's angry unless he feels he needs to be heard, at which point he tends to project rather than shout.

OLFACTORY Generally, Raylan smells very masculine. He wears some sort of boring aftershave that smells of whatever things aftershave smell of. He's not a smoker, but he does drink a lot of bourbon and whiskey and sometimes it's obvious up close if he's been drinking. In terms of ablutions, his shampoo and soap are both pretty neutral, soapy and clean but not overly fragranced – absolutely just some cheap stuff he picked off a shelf at random.

FIREARMS PROFICIENCY Raylan's a very good shot, and also has a practiced and very fast quickdraw. It would be very, very difficult to beat him in a quickdraw situation.
